SNYDER, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety announced two people are dead after a major crash that happened in Scurry County on Monday night at 9:05 p.m.

A driver operating an 18-wheeler was uninjured.

DPS said the second vehicle in the crash included driver Orlando Tello, 32, from Lamesa and passenger Silvia Lemon, 59, from Lamesa were both pronounced dead on the crash scene by Justice of the Peace, Judge Joe Lay.

The driver and passenger of the third vehicle involved in the wreck suffered serious bodily injury.

Sid Rodriquez, 44, from Snyder was Transported to UMC Lubbock for treatment.

Aleshia Lucero, 41 from Lubbock was Transported to Hendrick Medical Center.
