Detroit police officer accused of drunken driving while off duty charged

A Detroit police officer accused of driving drunk while off-duty last weekend has been charged, officials and court records said.

Liam Collier, 27, was arraigned Monday in 36th District Court in Detroit, according to police and the court. He is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence, police and records said.
