LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin will launch an initiative aimed at combating opioid overdoses at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Griffin will launch the One Pill Can Kill initiative at the university and talk about the dangers of fentanyl and other opioids.

This comes two weeks after the attorney general launched the same initiative at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

The attorney general said it will provide hands-on training for student leaders to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, how to administer naloxone and learning how to test medications or beverages for fentanyl.

Griffin will hold a press conference at UAPB at 10 a.m. A live stream will be available in the live player above.
