Strugis (Mich.) Hospital detected a hack in its network in June — while it was investigating a December hack. The 84-bed hospital was investigating unauthorized access to its network for the previous incident when it discovered further unauthorized activity, according to a Sept. 18 notice. A hacker may have accessed or stolen files in both incidents, with as many as 77,771 individuals affected, per the hospital’s submission to HHS.
