A devastated mum came home to discover her 10-year-old daughter had been fatally mauled by the family's XL bully, which was "covered in blood", a coroner's court heard. ‌

Savannah Bentham was by herself in the static caravan she shared with her parents in East Heslerton, North Yorkshire, when the six-year-old family pet, Biggie, launched the deadly attack, a police officer told the inquest on Tuesday. ‌
