YOUNGSTOWN The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) has filed a response to a lawsuit from a group of parents and students, arguing the case should be dismissed because the plaintiffs have not exhausted the association’s internal appeal process.
The lawsuit, filed in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas, seeks to prevent the OHSAA from enforcing its transfer bylaws against students who played on the Ursuline High School football team, which canceled the remainder of its season amid a lawsuit alleging hazing activity.
