COLLEGE STATION, Texas — A Texas A&M University fraternity is under investigation after at least one pledge was injured during what authorities are calling a "hazing incident."

The Texas A&M University Police Department said it was notified of an investigation about a reported hazing incident that happened on Sept. 14 at an off-campus fraternity property on North Dowling Road.

Brazos County Sheriff's Office investigators said it involved the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Authorities said a group of pledges was told to show up at the off-campus property. When they got there, current frat members took the pledges to a "secluded area where they were told to engage in physical activity until exhaustion," according to university police.
