With a birdie on the third playoff hole, Manual High School junior Ella Sizemore won a regional golf championship and made some history along the way.

Sizemore beat Sacred Heart’s Keira Yun in a playoff to capture Monday’s Region Six Championships at Seneca Golf Course .

Sizemore became the first regional champion from a Louisville public school in 21 years, the last being Male sophomore Jordan Magruder in 2004.
