Gujarati film ‘Vash’ wins big at 71st National Film Awards September 23, 2025

New Delhi: The 71st National Film Awards ceremony was held today at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. At the event, the Gujarati film ‘Vash’ won multiple National Film Awards.

President Droupadi Murmu presented the Best Gujarati Feature Film award to the film’s producer Kalpesh Soni and director Krishnadev Yagnik.

Additionally, actress Janki Bodiwala received the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for her critically acclaimed performance in the film.

The National Film Awards are considered among the most prestigious accolades in Indian cinema. Organized annually by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, they recognize and encourage outstanding contributions by Indian filmmakers and artists
