Record number of Americans eligible to enroll in Medicare

The annual enrollment period for Medicare is just weeks away, and a record number of Americans are set to become eligible for coverage.

Almost 4.2 million Americans will turn 65 and thus

become eligible for the U.S. government’s Medicare program. They are facing what some say are overwhelming choices between cost and coverage.

The annual enrollment period runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. Find more information at usa.gov/medicare .
