Oklahoma City-based Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health will establish a new heart center after receiving a $20 million gift from the Presbyterian Health Foundation and a $200 million investment from the state legislature. The Oklahoma Children’s OU Health Presbyterian Health Foundation Heart Center will centralize cardiac services that were previously spread across the hospital, according to a Sept. 19 news release from the health system. 

The new facility will include 90 beds dedicated to inpatient cardiac care alongside 30 outpatient exam rooms, two operating rooms, multiple cardiac catheterization and hybrid labs, advanced imaging and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation capabilities, transplant facilities, and spaces dedicated to family support and education.  Construction on the b
