A cold front is expected to arrive in El Paso, just a few days after the start of the fall season .
Temperatures will drop up to five to 15 degrees by Wednesday, Sept. 24, according to the National Weather Service. The cold front may also bring rain showers and breezy conditions to the region for the next few days, which could result in flash flooding.
El Paso is expected to drop to a high temperature of 88 degrees on Wednesday and remain in the 80s through the weekend. This will be the first cold front of the season, the National Weather Service said.
