Pumpkin bread seems like one of those fall treats you can’t really mess up. As long as it tastes like pumpkin, is packed with spices, and isn’t totally dried out, you have yourself a winner, right? Well…Joanna Gaines just posted a pumpkin bread recipe that she shares in an episode of Magnolia Table: At The Farm that is getting a bit of heat in the comments. The ingredients are just a bit too weird for some people who like to stick to the classics.
In a clip from the episode in question, Gaines walks us through how she likes to make her Brown Butter Pumpkin Bread, and right off the bat, she says that she “likes to add chocolate chips” to her recipe — and that’s enough to raise eyebrows immediately.
