There were 52 offenders living in Sangamon County who were released on parole during the second quarter of 2025, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Sangamon Sun.
Of the parolees, 48 were men and four were women, with a median age of 39. Among them, there were six veterans. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old woman sentenced for a crime against a person in 2025, and the oldest was a 77-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2001.
The offender incarcerated the longest was Raymond Daniels. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2001 when he was 53 years old. He is now 77.
