With Halloween a little over a month away, retailers and customers alike are stocking up on sweets, whether it be candy corn , larger-than-life chocolate bars or sticky, sour gummies.

Analyzing its grocery orders that included candy in 2024, Instacart found each state's Halloween candy preferences. At the top of the list, taking the title as America's Favorite Halloween Candy, was Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Peanut M&M's and Kit Kat were close follow-ups, and Sour Patch Kids, Milky Way and Haribo Goldbears also made the list.
