BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is investigating after shots were fired near Choctaw Road in Brusly on Sunday, Sept. 21.

WBRSO said a deputy was in the area when shots were heard around 1:30 a.m. They said the shots were fired into the air. There were no reported injuries.

The Brusly Police Department confirmed that they also responded to the scene.
