The Yankees are taking advantage of a weak schedule to finish the regular season as they push for a playoff berth.

They moved two games back from the AL East lead and established a comfortable four-game cushion for the top wild-card spot after taking three of four against the Orioles over the weekend.

Chicago is the worst team in the AL and looks to move on from another horrific season. They come into Tuesday’s first pitch at 7:05 p.m. ET after having dropped two of three to the Padres.

Shane Smith (6-8, 4.06 ERA) gets the ball for the Sox as Luis Gil (4-1, 3.33 ERA) opposes him.
