LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Two people were arrested for stealing more than $200 worth of baby formula from a grocery store in central Laredo.

On Wednesday, September 3, a theft was reported at a grocery store located in the 200 block of W. Del Mar Blvd., with Laredo Police officers reporting to the scene after a loss prevention specialist told them that two people had stolen baby formula.

Surveillance footage showed that 37-year-old Juan Ricardo Morales and 25-year-old Cassandra Denise Rangel were seen taking four cans valued at a total of $208.

Investigators then presented their findings to an assistant district attorney, who approved the issuance of arrest warrants.
