US President Donald Trump on Tuesday criticised the United Nations, saying it’s “empty words and and empty words don’t solve wars”.
Addressing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Session in New York, his first since 2020, Trump said that he ended seven wars, including India and Pakistan in a period of just seven months, something that, according to the US President, should have been the work of the United Nations.

“I ended seven wars… No president or prime minister, and for that matter, no other country has ever done anything close to that. I did it in just seven months. It’s never happened before. I’m very honoured to have done it. It’s too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations doing them,” he said.
