SPRINGFIELD — Four neighborhood groups will join together to hold a candidates forum, bringing in the eight hopefuls who are running for five at-large City Council seats to answer a number of questions before November’s election.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the South Congregational Church at 45 Maple St. and will be sponsored by Metro Center Association, McKnight Neighborhood Council, South End Citizens Council, and Maple-High/Six Corners Association. It is open to the public and will be broadcast on Focus Springfield in the future.

The candidates are incumbents Sean Curran, Jose Delgado, Brian Santaniello, Kateri Walsh, Tracye Whitfield and newcomers Nicole Coakley, Justin Hurst and Juan Latorre III.
