SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport City Council is expected to make a decision at its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 23 on the new Film and Entertainment Gateway Economic Development District.

The new ordinance, if passed, would create the district and a new tax within that district. The funds from the tax would be used to finance economic development projects within the newly formed district.
