A$AP Rocky has revealed that he is "praying" for a daughter.
The rapper and fashion mogul, who is expecting his third child with girlfriend Rihanna, has revealed that he believes the baby is a girl.
In a new interview with ELLE published on Tuesday, Rocky said that he and the Umbrella singer, who already have two sons, don't want to know the baby's sex until it is born.
"I hope it's a girl. I really do. We're praying for a girl," Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, said. "Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn't want to know. Third time, we don't want to know until, you know."
He went on to suggest that this pregnancy feels different to Rihanna's previous two, leading him to believe that they are expecting a girl.
"I feel like it's going to be a girl," he told the outlet. "This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it's a baby girl, man. I need that."
Rocky, 36, and Rihanna, 37, have been together since 2019 and are parents to three-year-old RZA and two-year-old Riot.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Praise the Lord hitmaker reflected on fatherhood, saying, "What's really fly is raising a family, bro, and loving them. Being there."
The rapper, who stood trial earlier this year over a 2021 shooting and is preparing to release his fourth studio album, Don't Be Dumb, sometime this year, added that family remains his priority.
"I don't want to primarily blame it on my case, but life was lifeing (sic)," he told the outlet about his album delay. "We don't plan on having children, but when it happens, you gotta adjust and move with it. I gotta be present for my family, because that's first."
