BENTON HARBOR, MI — A child was shot last week and died from his injuries days later, leading to a murder charge against the alleged shooter, police said.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 17, police responded to Buss Avenue near South Fair Avenue for a shots fired call, receiving confirmation soon after that a child was hit by gunfire.
