Jimmy Kimmel Live! was pulled off the air last week, prompting numerous conversations about free speech and the Trump administration striking fear into television networks. Jimmy Kimmel is set to return this week, though it will not entirely be business as usual.

The 57-year-old host and his eponymous show will come back on Tuesday evening (Sept. 23); however, not all of ABC ‘s affiliate stations will be running the show. Sinclair, a major owner of local TV stations in the United States, has announced that select affiliates will preempt the long-running late-night show with news programming.
