On a night he moved past one of the Titans’ all-time greats in the NFL record books, Derrick Henry’s performance was spoiled with another crushing fumble.
Things started well on Monday Night Football for Henry, who holds the Titans record for career touchdowns (93) and ranks second in career rushing yardage (9,502).
In the first quarter, Henry cruised 28 yards for a touchdown, tying the contest with Detroit 7-7.
With his 23 rd career touchdown rush of 20 yards or more, Henry passed former Titans back Chris Johnson — as well as Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith — for the third-most in NFL history, per ESPN .
It looked like the start of another big performance for the big back.
