KNOX COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD) -- One person has died after a wreck between an "oversized load" and another vehicle, police said.

Troopers with the Illinois State Police Troop 4 were called at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a two-vehicle crash, an agency spokesperson said.

The wreck happened at the 1300 block of U.S. Highway 150, which is about 11 miles east of Galesburg.

One person has been pronounced dead, and the road will continue to be closed for an "extended period of time," they said.

The cause of the wreck and other injuries was not made immediately available.
