Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is setting out to deliver the best versions of the first two entries in the series, featuring not only gorgeous HD-2D visuals, but some new content that modernizes the two games without taking away their identity and makes them way more engaging, as I could appreciate during my time with both during Gamescom . This new content, which I found to work great, has been showcased in a new trailer shared today.

The trailer , which can be watched below, provides an overview of the new content added to both games. It includes new dungeons to explore, a new Scrolls mechanic that allows characters to learn new abilities, which is a much-needed necessity, especially in Dragon Quest I due to the single-playable character, the return of the Mini Medals collecting me
