MADISON, Wis. -- A Madison man will spend 70 years in prison after he was sentenced Monday for sexually assaulting an infant girl earlier this year.

Skyler Klassen, 22, pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual assault of a child, child sexual exploitation, and possession of child pornography on May 12. He was accused of sexually assaulting Madison Bishop's infant daughter. Detectives at the scene recovered various sexually explicit images of Bishop's daughter from Klassen's phone, as well as video evidence of the assault.

Bishop, 21, was charged in April with conspiracy to commit first-degree child sexual assault and failure to protect a child. Prosecutors said that she encouraged Klassen to sexually assault her daughter.
