That alone created a line to get into the new Sheetz fuel station, restaurant and convenient store, which held its grand opening Tuesday morning in Chesterfield Township.

“I just heard about it,” said Michelle King of Armada, who was among the patrons waiting to get gas. “I’ve never been to a Sheetz. I’m going to get some gas and some lottery tickets.”

Teresa Tomsen concurred.

“It’s the first I’ve ever heard of them,” said Tomsen, who hails from Colorado.
