Two men were killed in separate shootings just an hour apart in Philadelphia on Tuesday morning, police said.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the first shooting happened a little after 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, on the 2800 block of North Van Pelt Street.

When officers got to the scene, police said they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

Just an hour later, around 11 a.m., police said officers were called to the 3800 block of North Franklin Street regarding another shooting incident.
