CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — A woman who let a sex offender be around two children, resulting in them being molested, has been sentenced to prison for sexually motivated child abuse.

Harrison Chief Judge Christopher J. McCarthy handed down the maximum term of 2 to 10 years on Jessica Marie Waybright, 34, of Shinnston.

McCarthy also imposed a 40-year term of supervised release to follow the prison sentence, and fined Waybright $1,000. Waybright also must register as a sex offender for the rest of her life, and must register on the child abuse and neglect registry for 10 years.

And, in a separate, civil case, she's been banned from having any contact with the children while they are juveniles, her lawyer, Christopher M. Wilson, told the court.
