The Somerset Lady Jumpers were 0-19 against the Southwestern Warriors all-time heading into their matchup on Monday at the Wig Wam, but finally put up that first number in the win column with a 3-1 victory over their crosstown rival (25-22, 20-25, 25-7, 25-18).
Southwestern actually held the lead for most of the early stages of the first set, with kills coming from Zoie Lowery and Addison Baldwin. The Jumpers used strong hitting from both Sarah Tucker and Sara McBride to stay right with their rivals and following a pair of kills from McBride and an attacking error by the Warriors, had their first lead of the game at 19-18.
