The City of Enterprise joined with local partners Tuesday evening to recognize September 2025 as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
During the Enterprise City Council meeting, Mayor William E. Cooper signed a proclamation acknowledging the impact of suicide on individuals, families, and communities and reaffirming the City’s commitment to raising awareness and supporting prevention efforts.
Cooper was joined at the signing by Ashley Shasteen and Kristin Johns of SpectraCare Health Systems, along with Vernon Johnson, Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator at Fort Rucker.
