A 36-year-old Goderich woman is charged with criminal negligence after two separate dog attacks in the same neighbourhood left two pedestrians injured and one dog dead, Huron County OPP say.
Ontario Provincial Police say the first incident happened last year on Aug. 3, when a pedestrian walking their dogs was attacked by two unsecured dogs from a nearby property on Gibbons Street in Goderich, a Huron County town of about 8,000.
The victim required medical attention for their injuries, and one of their dogs was killed in the attack, police said. The owner of the dogs was charged at the time under the Dog Owner Liability Act (DOLA), police said.
