"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is making its return to late-night television Sept. 23, but dozens of ABC affiliate stations, including Erie's WJET-TV, aren't planning to broadcast the show.
Local TV station owners Nexstar Media Group and Sinclair Broadcast Group each announced this week they would not be carrying the return of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on their ABC affiliates. Nexstar owns and operates WJET-TV, which usually broadcasts the show weeknights at 11:35 p.m.
The ABC late-night show was "pre-empted indefinitely" by the network on Sept. 17.
