Weather forecasters and sports reporters are kind of similar. They get some stuff wrong in forecasting. Even reporters from The Baltimore Sun get a few things wrong ( “Ravens vs. Lions staff picks: Who will win Monday night in Baltimore?” Sept. 22).

For the last few months, reporters and opinion writers have told us that this Ravens team is the best Ravens team in a long time, maybe forever, at least on paper. If only NFL games were played on paper.
