AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - There is an active shooter at Augusta Mall.

The reports came in just before 1:25 p.m. Tuesday.

The reports said there were three shots and possibly three victims.

Around 1:55 p.m., emergency medical crews brought out two stretchers. A third stretcher was along the wall outside Barnes & Noble.

The area near Barnes and Noble was taped off, News 12 was told. Another person told News 12 her daughter talked to her co-workers at Earthbound and says the shooting was near escalators on that side of the mall.

The shooter was reported at American Eagle, then reportedly ran into Bath & Body Works, News 12 was told in an unconfirmed report.
