TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will be out for several games after getting injured during Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

According to NFL.com, Evans suffered a hamstring injury in the second half of the game. At the time, Evans was seen limping to the sideline before being ruled out for the rest of the game.

Evans previously missed three games in 2024 due to a previous hamstring injury. During that period, the Bucs lost all three of those games.

It is not yet known how long Evans will be out this time.

Sports Illustrated suggested with Evans sidelined for the time being, Chris Godwin could play a bigger rule if he completely recovers from a previous ankle injury.
