Hamilton police have released a video of a man they say painted a swastika on a James Street North-area business. They're looking for help identifying the man, who is seen in the video wearing a sports jersey with what appears to be the number 99 on it.

Police say the "hate-motivated graffiti" painted on the business was reported on Sept. 11.

"Surveillance video captured a suspect spray-painting a Hakenkreuz, commonly known as the Nazi Swastika," police said in a release issued Tuesday. The symbol was used by Germany's Nazi government during the Second World War, during which the Nazis murdered six million Jews in what is now known as the Holocaust.
