CARBONDALE — Sign up now and enjoy a scenic stroll or sprint through the beautiful forests of Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center on Oct. 4 for the Rocky Ledges 5K/10K Trail Run/Walk.

The 10th edition of the popular event is open to runners and walkers of all ages. It begins at Camp 2 and covers a variety of terrains, including wooded areas and hills. Happening during SIU’s Family Weekend, Oct. 2-5, the 10K starts at 8:30 a.m., and the 5K begins at 9 a.m.
