The Miners football team eviscerated Mountain View on Friday night, getting them to 3-3. Park City was fueled by a meticulous, well-rounded effort, which saw them dominate the game from start to finish.

While some teams would likely take a few days to bask in their homecoming victory glory, the Miners got right back into the lab Saturday. Injured players rehabbed, and on Monday the team got together again and started watching film on this week’s opponent: Salem Hills, who they’ll travel to take on Friday at 7 p.m.

Salem Hills is 4-2. They’ve finished third in Region 8 for the past two years. Miners head coach Josh Montzingo is hoping the confidence building in his team from Friday’s resounding win spills over into this week’s game, helping them again get over the hump.
