WINDHAM, Maine — Windham police arrested multiple people Tuesday morning during a search warrant after a months-long investigation into drug and human trafficking.
Officers conducted a high-risk search warrant around 6:30 a.m. at a home on Snowy Ridge Road, according to a social media post from Windham police.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department and Cumberland County Regional Emergency Services reportedly assisted in the search.
Police said they had been investigating alleged drug trafficking, human trafficking, prostitution, and other criminal activities at the home.
Seven people were arrested, the post said.
