Football icon Gianfranco Zola is part of the European Ryder Cup drive. ‌

The Italian legend has been spotted at the wheel of a team buggy at Bethpage and was included in the team photos on Tuesday morning. ‌

Zola’s countrymen Edoardo Molinari is the stats guru for skipper Luke Donald , while his brother Francesco, who played in the last team to win in the States at Medinah in 2012, is one of the leader’s vice captains. ‌

The former Chelsea hero has been whizzing around the fairways on Long Island along with the likes of Rory McIlroy and might be able to give some expertise to the players on how to handle hostile crowds given his background at the highest level of the pitch.
