GRAND LEDGE, Mich. (WILX) - The City of Grand Ledge is alerting all community members about a recent scam involving fraudulent invoices being sent under the name of the Grand Ledge Planning Commission.

These invoices are designed to appear official, using the City’s logo and operational information.

These invoices are not legitimate and have not been authorized by the City of Grand Ledge.

If you receive a suspicious invoice claiming to be from the City:

Do not make any immediate payments

Contact the City of Grand Ledge to verify the legitimacy of the invoice by calling 517-627-2149

Report the incident to the Grand Ledge Police Department at 517-627-2115

The Grand Ledge Police Department is actively investigating this matter and working to prevent further fraudulent activity.
