Police have reportedly been called to a mass brawl in Hanley. Eye-witnesses say a huge fight broke out in the Percy Street area of the city centre at around 7pm this evening (September 23.

Photos from the scene show a cordon has been put in place as an investigation gets underway. An ambulance was also called to the incident. It is not known at this stage whether there are any serious injuries or if any arrests have been made.

One StokeonTrentLive reader said: "It all kicked off one hour ago. There was a huge fight in the street at the back of Wetherspoons. The police are still here and an ambulance has left."
