(NewsNation) — A woman who attempted a fraudulent foreclosure scheme involving Elvis Presley's Graceland mansion was sentenced to 57 months in prison.
Lisa Jeanine Findley will also have three years of supervised release after her prison time is done, will be required to have mental health counseling and will not be able to open any lines of credit without probation approval.
Findley faced a sentence of more than 10 years in prison, but the government requested a shorter sentence.
Findley pleaded guilty to a charge of mail fraud in what the judge called a "highly sophisticated" scheme to defraud the Presley family.
Findley claimed that Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, had borrowed millions of dollars using Graceland as collateral and then published fake foreclosure notices in 2024.
