PHILADELPHIA − The Phillies have a chance to clinch a bye in the wildcard series with a win over the Miami Marlins and a loss by the Dodgers to the Arizona Diamondbacks later on Sept. 23.

For the Phillies, they're hoping to do it with Cristopher Sanchez on the mound. Sanchez has been the Phillies' best pitcher ever since Zack Wheeler was lost for the season.
