WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, along with state and federal law enforcement, has arrested two people in connection with a social security scam that defrauded an 84-year-old woman out of more than $255,000.

According to a release, 27-year-old Krishna Bharanue Daggubati of Cummings, Georgia, and 29-year-old Sai Praveen Kommana of Frisco, Texas, were arrested on September 17 for felony theft by deception and mistreatment of a dependent adult. Charges were filed Monday, court records show.
