PHILADELPHIA — The good news for Eagles’ first-year offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo is that this isn’t his first year in Philadelphia. Patullo arrived along with Nick Sirianni when the latter became head coach of the Eagles in 2021.

So Patullo has seen how the heat was on former defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon in 2022 even as the Eagles were headed to the Super Bowl with a defense that had a franchise record 70 sacks and finished second in the league in yards allowed.

Patullo was also around when Brian Johnson was being blamed for an offense that fell stagnant over the final seven weeks of the 2023 season, resulting in his exit after just one season. Two defensive coordinators — Sean Desai and Matt Patricia — were also fired after that season.
