19-year-old driver strikes school resource officer in Dinwiddie County

A Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Deputy was struck by a vehicle while directing morning traffic Sept. 22.

Virginia State Police were called to the scene at 8:20 a.m. in front of Midway Elementary School on Route 751 in Church Road. The victim, Sgt. Randall Fish, reported the incident, according to Major Knott with the Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Office.
